Membership

Welcome to the Chilliwack Spinners and Weavers Guild Society. We are glad that you have decided to join us whether it be for the first or the fortieth time!

The benefits of becoming a member of the Chilliwack Spinners and Weavers Guild Society are many, and they include: 

  • Access to a large library of books, magazines, patterns, and other written materials on a variety of fibre arts, skills, and techniques, beyond just spinning and weaving. 
  • Access to guild equipment, including looms, spinning wheels, drum carders, warping boards, and more, and ability to borrow some equipment for use at home.*
  • Priority access to workshops being offered through the guild on relevant fibre art techniques
  • A community of fellow fibre artists with years of experience and diverse skill sets and expertise.

Note:  We are no longer accepting payment through PayPal.  Please make your payment using one of the options noted above.

*Please note that some benefits are restricted to members in good standing, which is defined in our By-laws as:

“Article 11. All members are in good standing except a member who has failed to pay his or her current annual membership fee, or any other subscription or debt due and owing by the member to the Guild, the member is not in good standing so long as the debt remains unpaid.

Article 12. Members in good standing are required to attend two business meetings during the calendar year before they can enter items for sale in any of our Craft Market ventures.”
