We’re back vending at the Chilliwack Christmas Craft Market again this year. We look forward to seeing you at the Chilliwack Spinners and Weavers booth where you will find quality handmade items by talented spinners and weavers.

A lovely lunch was enjoyed by all who attended. Good food and lots of laughs. Nice way to kick off the start to summer.
Some Guild members gathered in the 1881 District area in Chilliwack to knit/spin in public as part of the World Wide Knit in Public Day. Many happy people stopped by our group to have a chat.

To mark 50 years of spinning and weaving for the CSWG Society the Chilliwack Museum and Archives created an exhibition and called it “Woven Together”. The exhibition ran from February 29, 2024 to June 8, 2024. Many beautiful articles that were created by Guild members were included in the display.

Beautiful items shared at our April meeting.
On November 15-17, 2024, we were once again at the Christmas Craft Market, hosted by the Chilliwack Arts Council. Many of our members knit, crocheted, spun, and wove items for sale. We had a very successful sale, and our items were well received, especially the needle-felted sheep that so many of our members made at a Tuesday workshop recently.

Thank you so much to all of the members who contributed items for sale, or volunteered their time to help run, set up, and take down our booth. Your hard work, dedication, and skill in your craft is what makes our guild such a great community! If you weren’t able to be there, then we hope to see you in 2025!
